Taylor is a go with the flow kind of girl who tries not to take life too seriously. One thing she does take seriously though is skincare. Taylor focuses on the connection between beauty/wellness and happiness. When she’s not learning the newest skincare technique or studying products, you can find Taylor spending time with her dog, Dobby or her mother, Rebecca. Having such an amazing female role model definitely shaped her into the strong-willed woman she is. Her mother is her biggest inspiration; and also her biggest fan. Stop in to see Taylor and you’ll leave feeling good on the inside, and looking good on the outside.

“My main goal as an esthetician is to give the client beautiful, healthy skin. I want them to feel confident and beautiful while giving them an experience they will enjoy.” —Taylor S.

Q: How did you get started in skincare? Why is it your passion?
A: I absolutely love skincare, it is one of my greatest passions in life and that’s something I can thank my mother for. Growing up I had a hard-working single mother who worked full time and went to school in the evening, so a lot of the time I got to spend with her was in the morning as she was getting ready for the day, and in the evening as she was getting un-ready. I can still remember lying on her bed while she was at her vanity asking a million questions. Skincare and beauty, in general, is something we have always bonded over. She’s instilled in me the importance of a good skincare routine and we enjoy trying new products and treatments to this day!
Q: What is your daily skincare routine?
A: I tend to keep my daily skincare routine pretty basic. In the morning, I rarely cleanse my skin. If I do I use a very gentle cleanser, like Naturopathica’s Manuka Honey Cleansing Balm, but I usually use a cleansing water or just rinse my skin. After that I always tone, I absolutely love toners. Then I use a moisturizing sunscreen. Followed by my makeup routine.

In the evening I make sure I cleanse really well—making sure all my makeup is removed and my skin is nice and clean. Sometimes I’ll use a glycolic acid cleanser but I usually keep it pretty gentle. On nights that I’m exfoliating, I love to use Naturopathica’s Purifying Pumpkin Enzyme Peel. I always tone and use an antioxidant serum. I finish my nighttime routine with a hydrating eye cream and night-cream.
Q: What is a basic skincare routine that you recommend to your clients?
A: I recommend a basic routine for most of my clients. This should consist of a cleanser, exfoliant, toner and moisturizer in the evening, and a cleanser (optional), toner, moisturizer, and SPF in the morning. It’s quality not the quantity of products!Q: What skincare services would you recommend to your clients?
A: The services I recommend to clients vary depending on the clients’ needs. But I recommend you start your skincare journey with a signature facial and we can go from there!Q: What is your favorite Sacred skincare service to receive? To provide?
A: My favorite skincare service to receive is dermaplaning, which also happens to be my favorite service to perform! It gives you immediate results and can really improve texture and tone drastically over time as well. It pairs lovely with the kombucha mask from Naturopathica.

Q: What are your favorite skincare products?
A: One of my favorite products is Naturopathica’s Lavender Protective Moisturizing SPF 17. I absolutely love how this product applies. I also cannot get enough of the Kombucha Bio Cellulose Mask!
